The dolls are tinted and painted on the inside with a unique blend of paints and dyes. Then they are painted and blushed using various mediums including oil and acrylic paints, dyes, and permanent pigments to create a realistic "life glow".  You'll be so amazed at how life like they appear that you'll catch yourself watching to see if they are actually breathing.

I give them each a new body and then lovingly stuff and weight them with plastic pellets, sterile white and colored sand and polyfill. The heads are weighted and have unbelieveable realistic movement just as a newborn. The arms and legs are poseable and are weighted for a more realistic and evenly distributed weight.

I carefully open the nose so that they can breathe.  I occasionaly open the mouth depending on the shape.  The openings are then backed with felt to seal the contents inside the head.

The hair is carefully sculpted  into realsitic infant "wispy" styles using top quality wigs or hand rooted premium mohair.  The hand rooted mohair is carefully and tediously inserted in the direction and pattern that hair grows naturally.  The hair can be brushed and styled to lay flat or is adorable in a wispy "just woke up" infant style. The eyebrows have just started to come in and are hand painted with a light hand and feathery fine brush (each hair is defined in delicate detail). The eyelashes are dainty and delicate, they are perfect and do not overpower these little faces.

They each have ten perfect little manicured toe and fingernails with natural looking off-white tips and a light shine to appear more realistic and have a just clipped appearance (no fingernail polish, which can peel and chip).
